John R. Beasley

After serving as an officer in the U.S. Army, John Beasley joined the law firm in 1978. He has extensive trial experience, and has vigorously represented individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in federal and state courts throughout Arkansas. John’s civil trial work includes insurance coverage and defense litigation, as well as personal injury law. He has earned favorable verdicts for his clients in numerous state and federal cases.
In recent years, John has concentrated much of his work on insurance defense and insurance-coverage related matters. He has handled numerous cases involving a wide range of coverages, including property and casualty, life, commercial property, and general liability. His work with carriers includes rendering coverage advice and prosecuting and defending declaratory judgment actions. Cases of note include Vaughn v. Shelter Mut. Ins. Co., 2011 Ark. App. 208, 382 S.W. 3d 736, and Cross v. State Farm Mut. Auto Ins. Co., 2011 Ark. App. 62.
In addition to his insurance and litigation practice, John also counsels clients in probate and estate administration, contracts, real property, and commercial law. He works closely with individual and business clients to find appropriate solutions to complex problems.
